Welcome to the Loenhart Sailing Page
I started sailing when I was a kid. But I really got into it in 1994 after my father gave me a Northern 25.
Eventually, I became Race and Regatta Chairman at CFBTYC. A position I held for three years - mostly because no one else wanted it.
But, I learned a great deal there, and I'm still overwhelmingly honoured that such a committed group of people once saw fit to award me their "Silver Shackle".
I have been a race committee member at CORK for Mistral North American and World Championship events.
And I have participated as a racing sailor in the
Bay of Quinte, Lake Ontario, the French Mediterranean
sea and the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of France.
This page and its links are kind a history of my sailing experiences. I wish there were digital cameras during the days on the Bay of Quinte.
If there had been, the albums from Trenton would still be my favorite today. Have a look at the linked sites and albums.
I find every link useful and every album has a special place in my heart.
