Marseilles, France - September 30th to October 2nd, 2005

Our Lufthansa flight plan provided us with a dentists view of the snow-covered Alps. The teeth poked through the clouds like cotton candy. Upon arrival, two retired formula-one drivers and their taxis were hired to transport the seven of us from the airport to la base nautique de Corbière. Jake would meet us there later. Unfortunately, la base nautique de Corbière is about 1.5 kilometers from Port de Corbière – the actual location of our chartered vessel's berth.
