"The Wall" at the Champlain Bridge, Ottawa - May 31st 2009
Shawn and Rob had gone mad. The wind had a bite to it and the icy spray was proof that the water was no warmer. Yes they had suits on,
but hands, arms, faces - whatever touched the water had to be cold. Let's just say I was happy to be taking the pictures.
Environment Canada's Brittania Station reports that water levels on this day were just under 4 meters. That made it fairly easy for
the guys to paddle up the eddy along the wall. And with depth like that the waves looked pretty good. See for yourself.
