Versailles Gardens
You may not want to call it Napoleon’s garden. You may say that it belongs to one of a handful of Louis that once owned it.
Maybe Louis-Philippe the First suits your historical fancy. Perhaps today it belongs to all of France, or even the world.
Whatever you think, you must certainly agree that the formal gardens in Versailles are extremely impressive.
Symmetrical, expansive, and filled with statuary, I was simply in awe of its grandeur. But, then again I am from Canada.
We don’t get very grand here.
